Chapter Grand

Clara Putnam Armstrong (Epsilon Gamma, University of Denver)

Clara, pledge class of 1928 (first new member class after the EG installation), passed away on Sunday, March 2nd. She left this world peacefully and will be greatly missed. She touched many of our sisters' lives and often could be found at many AGD events - as many as she could attend in her late age. Often telling stories about her AGD memories and sisters. It was obvious to anyone who met her, that she was passionate about the Fraternity and her love for the Epsilon Gamma chapter. She served as the Alumnae President and received many awards and recognition for her dedication to AGD.

A memorial was held March 16th at the Cameron Methodist Church - Iowa and Pearl at 12:30pm. The Denver Alumnae Chapter and EG Chapter members sang our AGD Farewell Song for her.

It was a very sad day for EG and the women who were fortunate enough to be able to call her an EG chapter sister. She embodied AGD and lived the life we all aspire to. One that is filled with AGD memories of sisters and love for the Fraternity.
